Hunt-Kiewit, a Joint Venture
Huber, Hunt & Nichols, Inc. has a 50 year history in the Pacific Northwest and has teamed with the ballpark architects, NBBJ, on twelve other projects, including five sports facilities. The firm has garnered national attention and awards for its projects. Kiewit Construction Company, established in 1884, is a leader in the construction, mining, telecommunications and energy industries and consistently ranks among the 25 largest construction companies in the U.S. With a branch office in Renton, Washington, Kiewit has worked with Huber, Hunt & Nichols, Inc. on numerous large-scale construction projects. In addition to sports venues, Kiewit has constructed high rise buildings, tunnels, bridges, airports, canals and many other structures. |

Two construction leaders formed a joint venture to handle
the general contracting and construction management responsibilities
for the project. Huber, Hunt & Nichols, Inc. is a recognized
national leader for stadium and long span roof design and
construction. They have teamed with a leading Pacific Northwest
firm, Kiewit Construction Company. Together, the two companies have
combined experience building 22 stadiums, including seven baseball
stadiums, two retractable roof stadiums and six domed stadiums.
